My name is Aaron Byers, and I write middle grade fiction. I also teach first grade.

I started writing with students during writing journal times. Then I shared my off-the-wall stories aloud. At the end of the year I bound the stories as an end of the year gift. That has continued for the last 26 years.

My middle grade stories are fast paced, quirky, funny, and adventurous. My goal is for my stories to appeal to children with a wide expanse of reading abilities.
