Wesley and His Lunch

Wesley sat at his desk in Mr. Byers’ room.  He brought his lunch today.  

“What did you bring for lunch?” asked Tanner.

“It’s so great,” said Wesley.  “You’ll be so jealous.”

All morning long the kids kept asking Wesley what he had brought for lunch.  Wesley just smiled.  He was so excited!

The big moment finally arrived.  All of the kids crowded around to see just what was in the lunch box.  Wesley unzipped the bag.

“Orange juice?!?” everyone yelled.  

“Hey, where did my popsicles go?” Wesley asked.

Wesley had to drink a whole lunchbox full of orange juice.  He still thought it was great.  He even gave the Popsicle sticks to Mr. Byers.  Just like the table, lunchbox, floor, and Wesley’s face, they were covered in sticky orange juice.
