Tyler and his Monkey

Tyler went to the pet store to buy a pet.  His mom told him that he could buy any pet he wanted.  He was so excited!

The first pet they looked at was a lion.  “Too small,” said Tyler.

Then they looked at a rhinoceros.  “Too nice,” said Tyler.  

Finally they saw a monkey.  “Just right,” Tyler exclaimed.  Little did Tyler know that it was an EVIL MONKEY!!

Tyler and his mom went off for school and work, and the monkey stayed at home.  First this evil monkey drove the car…straight into a tree!  Then the evil monkey gathered all of the Smith family clothes…and used them for firewood!  Finally the monkey decided to eat all of the Eggo waffles!!  Bad monkey!

When Tyler came home and saw the monkey working the toaster he was horrified!  “Leggo my Eggo,” he shouted.  

This made the monkey mad.  “Wah, wah, wah!,” it yelled.  It flung the waffles at Tyler, grabbed a box of Honeycomb Cereal, and jumped to the window.  “Me want Honeycomb!” it shouted.  The evil monkey jumped out of the window and was never heard from again.  

“Well, at least he didn’t take my Corn Pops,” Tyler said as he watched the monkey run down the street.  “I gotta have my Pops.”
